The Airline Tariff Publishing Company (commonly known as ATPCO) is a privately held corporation that engages in the collection and distribution of fare and fare-related data for the airline and travel industry. The company serves as a single source for airline content around the world. They connect major airfare sellers with the most up-to-date fare related content, enabling airlines to distribute more offers in more places. Its products and services organize fares into established formats that seamlessly integrate with global distribution systems, pricing systems, computer reservation systems, governments and related travel organizations. In doing so, ATPCO creates efficiencies in the overall fare management process. ATPCO currently works with more than 450 airlines worldwide, and it supplies more than 99 percent of the industry's intermediated fare data to all the major airfare pricing engines.
The users of ATPCO's data are Global Distribution Systems (GDS), such as Sabre, Amadeus, Travelport, and their associated travel agents; the Central Reservation Systems (CRS) of airlines; online travel agencies (OTA) such as Expedia, Orbitz, and Travelocity; and other service providers in the travel industry.
One example of an ATPCO product is a Baggage Calculator, a comprehensive real-time service that clearly and accurately communicates baggage policies, fees, and allowances from more than 400 airlines to all passenger touch-points, giving airline customers a more positive travel experience. In April 2016, Baggage Calculator became the first product to participate in ATPCO's Message Hub infrastructure. Baggage Calculator supports the implementation of IATA Resolution 302 and can be used in all channels of distribution.
In November 2016, ATPCO announced that Rolf Purzer will be the new President and CEO, effective February 1, 2017. Purzer told [ Tnooz] that he will strengthen ATPCO's commitment to connect and distribute the world's most reliable and accurate content, to invest in the technology to make it happen, and to take a leadership role in cooperation and standards so that the industry can innovate better and faster.

History
The Air Traffic Conference of America, a body within the Air Transport Association of America (ATA), was founded in 1945 to publish passenger tariffs (fares). In 1958 it assumed publication of freight tariffs, formerly produced by Air Cargo, Inc., and in 1965 the group divested from ATA as an independent company, Airline Tariff Publishers, Inc. It was reorganized and took its current name in 1975. ATPCO celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2015.
